Ideas/Fixes/etc.
Okay this was originally started by Isolim Tso.
Do NOT post here unless you are contributing to the cause of ("ideas for the new version of rotd, fixes that need to be done to rotd, or anything else.")
If you wish to have an idea put down below, you can also send me a Private message as well. Simply add it below and i will put it into a text file for dragon to read when saturday comes.

i found that there is a bug.
The carbine shot with the Force Recon is supposed to have a designated unit when its placed upon it. and it does, that isnt the problem, but i was told its supposed to show its coordinates even if the unit is in a dark area of the map, well its doesn't , and its especially worse in the Fog. Just letting you know, seeing if it might get fixed

Like trig said..fix Humvee...i already posted on another thread then i found this one but oh well here goes again -.-. Flamethrower needs fixed....Ive played it a couple times and sometimes it uses ammo and sometimes it doesnt..whenever it doesnt it is basicly infinite ammo lol.. so =X

Ok, I have some fixes and ideas (im bringing some over form the "unofficial" thread)
-I've noticed when the Forward Observer uses artillery strike, he can't move or do any other action. I can understand that this is so that a player doesn't abuses it's power and thinks about when and where to use it, but the sitting time is too long. Also it takes 30 seconds for the strike to actually come, this causes the strike to miss on most occasions, even if it is fired at a predicted path.
-Heavy Machine gunner is a completely badass hero, he does most damage and has the largest clip. But i think there should be a disadvantage to using him. Since he has such a large clip, and supposedly large gun, why not make him slower? Not too slow mind you, but jsut a hair slower than the other marines so a player has to think twice before picking him.
-Attack dogs for one of the classes, not sure which class, but we had it at one point I believe, and it worked rather well.
-Start the marines off at the airfield, go to the town, defend it while the civies get together for like 1- or 2 minutes, then escort. Could have the first boss attack the town when you start defending.
-Have a few mini marines defending the airfield at the beginning, the military wouldnt leave an airfield filled with expensive jets without any protection, would they?
-Have a more involved and progressive plot (like iso said), it could be possible to add some short cinematics, like how their used to be a cinematic when Xenesis showed up. (but we would need ideas for these, wouldnt we?)
-I know this one was a big pain in the ass for you Drag, and it's understandable if its not added (if you even make another version) but add the convoy mission back, it was hella fun.
-We could have a system were, the higher your rank, the more damage or hp you have. The difference would be small, but it would still be a help.

Thats the link to the note pad file that has all the ideas and fixes that we came up with and found. i found it easier to put them all together than you picking them all out of different posts.

Nightmare Mode
I found theres a few messup's with the Exp in nightmare mode.
now i tested this is 5 games in a row, using the Engineer just to solo it and get through to see if there were any problems.
1. The civilian mission at the start, still only gives the 15 exp for each civilian, i tested by killing 1 , then 2 , then all 3 civs to see if the double exp still gives, i have found out it doesnt
2. Lorik does give double exp, enough said
3. The dragon(allways forget his name) does give double exp. i had to load a code just so i could get engineer, since im over 80k and allways fight Glonft.
4. Glonft. the dirty little teleporter. does not, again iv tested this 5 times, and yet every time he gave the same amount of exp as in normal 150
5. The Transmitter mission does give double exp
6. now i wasnt able to actually beat the last boss. but i did test the EMP drop, wondering if it doubled as well, and i hate to say it but it didnt. not sure if its supposed to, but for now it doesnt :/

it still says the normal exp gained no matter the mode, just with the ones that are doubled u actually gotta know what ur at to notice the double gain

mmm Today me and les did long mode and when we killed bosses no exp was given..no idea why this happened..my friend r-i-p did it later on with me ingame..did same thing too

Okay, guys you need to state which map you are testing. Because if you are testing the public one, whats the point? the only testing that needs to be done is on the beta because that now has more new problems that need to be figured.

A little testing with the public one would be good also, that way you can see if anything was missed, you know those little rare bugs! xD

We dont do testing with the public because we wont to release something that is final, no mini versions or anythnig. This is has been done since version 0.01

the little bug/fix that i found is still in Beta's and Finals but im not sure u can really do anything about it, but i hear ppl saying that can see it but i never can, what im talking about is the HP of Xen, i hear others say how much health hes at, but i just cant see it, maybe its just me, but iv also heard others complain about not being able to check it out as well!
its not a big deal, but it would be nice to know what his health is at, w/o getting lucky enough to play with ppl that can see his hp and let everyone know what hes at!!

well i can only see it if i click very often and fast on xen^^ you can see the hp like for a fraction of a second

iv tired that in game, but it doesnt seem to work for me!
just hoping to hear from ziga or DC to see if they can do anything about it, bc i bet u would agree u would rather be able to see his hp at all times then that fraction of a second
