I think not being able to kill the mini is well thought out, however, perhaps this will force you to play-you it in a courteous manner with them.

Clan RotD does not support team killing in anyway whatsoever. If you do not like the way Vampirism Ultra is going, you may simple choose another vampirism to play.

Dragon, I know you put mini vamps in for a reason, but those who abuse playing mini vamp and those who help the mini vamp kill the main vamp kind of counter the whole point of mini vamps helping the vampire (at least I think they're meant to help the main vamps..). This is why I think you should change the team killing trigger so main vamps can kill mini vamps, although mini vamps can't kill main vamps (if a vampire is pro, and does not need nor want help, and the peasants are new, shouldn't he have the choice of making it easier on them? Especially if the mini vamps are disobedient if the main vampire asks them to just watch)). (I will add this into the Vampirism Ultra suggestions, with a scenario for an example of how allowing main vamps to kill mini vamps would allow for a greater playing experience (I also will suggest some other options.)

Edit: the reason you can't team kill is because of the team killing trigger that was added (directed towards the topic starter)

there is already a trigger where minis cant kill mains and mains cant kill minis, as soon as they attack they are ordered to instantly stop
