Trap guide
So i was looking through my documents and i found an old guide i had written a while back. It was pretty well written so mind as well post it.
Yea so these are all the methods to trap vampires:
Warning, you have to be dexterous and skillful as many of these trapping methods are difficult to accomplish.
1) Classic wall: trapping vampires with walls has been passed down from one generation to the next. In fact it has been used and advanced so often that there are a bunch of ways to trap with walls. For one, when a vamp enters a base and are having the time of their lives with feed, you can place a nice wall at the entrance. I recommend putting a tent/house in front of the wall so you can place bouncers once vamp returns and you still have an upgrade to complete. The best location for walls should be at the top considering you will have a great view on the vampire once the wall is upgraded. However doing this increases visibility of your wall to the vampire and makes placing bouncers nearly impossible. Once you trap the vamp, obviously the vamp is scheming on escaping with a teleportation staff. Haha, but no worries, general Bird has all the genius info to enslave that vamp for good. First off you can place your slayer in there to spy on the vamp until it tries to tele. That's when you ensnare(be quick!). Another method that wont risk getting your slayer killed is sending a unit in there. Perhaps a worker or a shade scope guy. When you get a worker in there put him on a tree so the vamp wont notice. Another method is sending your slayer to center to kill the shades that the vamp teles to. If the vamp doesnt have shades to tele, charm his lich just in case and keep an eye on that fellow because the vamp can sometimes tele to lich. Another part of this method is "shrinking the area". If you shrink the area where the vamp can travel to by building walls, then the vamp has a lower chance of escape as you will be able to see everything in the smaller base. That is known as the "entrance-trap".
Another trap using the wall is called the "long-range-trap". This is used to trap vamps without having your walls far sighted. Basically, you build a few walls at multiple pathways far from the vamp's farsight range. The negative sides to this method are: the area of trap is large and the vamp might go to a shadowed area to tele, and this process requires a lot of time and resources, thus be fast and sure that it will work given the circumstances.
Another wall trap is the "tera-trap". When vamp is attacking someone's wall, build a terabyte wall right behind them (this method works based on the positioning of the wall that the vamp was attacking. Using wand of wind on the vamp works great to stop him from attacking the tera wall. Dont trap a vamp that has dfms. After this, build 2 or 3 comet towers to kill the vamp, before his partner comes to save him. When his partner comes, then you can do something ridiculously fun. Infierno- calls it "the string" aka the "stringing method." It's where you trap the friend while he is trying to free the trapped guy. This opportunity comes few times in a hundred games. But take advantage of it, it's fun. You can trap the second guy with "long-range-trap".
A cool psychological technique is known as"luring." I first saw infierno doing this. It's where you lure the vampire with a bait such as a goldmine or something expensive. Once you do that, trap that ass.
Another trapping method is called, "center-trapping". I first heard b_a_stoner doing this. It's where you put a bunch of walls around the center vampire base. You can either trap the vamp in there or trap the vamp out. Either way you will win.
This next method is called "wall-stall". Its where you build a couple of weak tinymegas with your t1 worker to stall the vampire to kill him with a star or moon tower. This can also work with using houses.

Re: Trap guide
This was on my ipad so i couldnt change font. You might not be able to read it sadly. Also i stopped writing the guide after tower traps because the guide was already ridiculously long.
