Okay in order for me to create this video i have 30 days to do so.
Anyone can take part in being filmed in it, i will set rules if anyone wishes to apply for the video. You will be listed in the credits!

I need the list of beta testers and i need the list of contributors that helped make rotd possible.

@everyone else
If no one wishes to apply to help i will gladly make it just in honor of the clan members that can no longer play warcraft III any more.
If i comes out that people do apply i will end up making a segment for those that can no longer or do not wish to play anymore.

Here is the beginning so far. The part where it says
"come visit us at..." will be at the end or the beginning. it will be decided when i get some help

(and for my first 2 cents i think the "visit us at" part should be at the end, gotta lure them into wanting to come first heh , and to get people intrested we should also consider adding several more sections on the site, what those could be i have no clue nor will i put much thought to it because i already have my section lol ( perhaps let burn and died have their own sections to? just a thought))

That would be fine with me. All i need is really replays of people play rotd.

i will probably only get some screenshots because i dont know how to save/send replays.

after i made that last post i was thinking and i remembered, that video of me making the very first ever rotd solo might exist still o_O

maybe u could cut sum parts out of that and use it (any good parts that is it took me like 3 hours+ back in those days heh, ill try and find the file/link, then u can do w/e u like with it )

Yes indeed i did still have them sitting around at easy access

i have a solo saved for v 1.71 and 1.81 (although .71 wasn't my first solo it was the first one i saved (and subsequently the first recorded solo other than when drag tested the maps by himself), id suggest using parts of that one since the older you go in versions the harder they were, here the links for both though just incase u want sumtin from 1.81 too:

and although many people disagreed whenever i said DM was the best, i disproved them by using him in both of these

Once the game ends, at the scoreboard at the bottem right it says "save replay" then you can upload those files to places like
mediafire.com

Thanks guys, i will incorporate all of the things you have supplied.
It will take time because i have school work as well, that and i have to edit a lot of crap for this to come out clean .

Sorry thrall, you will have to either A: Record it yourself and give me the video of the recording to edit it and what not or B: Take random screenshots in it. to give for me. As all the replays wont play on my computer im not sure why, i dont think you can share replays :\

weird they worked for other people back then, maybe its cuz their from a diff ver of the game? not sure but i guess i can try to get sum screenshots

lemme try re-uploading them then try one last time, i uploaded those files years ago so maby sumtin happened cuz i can view them just fine right now.. it'll take me a min or 2

*sigh* perhaps not actually, when i run the replays the units all just stand still and nothing happens at all.... *points finger at blizzard* you torment me once again........

in the first replay it shows me loading the code and then picking my character then nuthing the gametime keeps going, the models still do their standing still animations, but nothing else happen, it doesnt even show me picking my guys first ability or register that it even happened, the heli never flies away etc....

in short i think its a lost cause for me....

but there is one last thing i want to try.... and ill have to do it when i get home because for now i have to leave

no i did not, but when i did the pause did pause everything, stopped the clock, nothing moved at all no unit animations, but when i hit play it just went back to that nothing happening situation where none of the units moved and none of my messages popped up, none of the triggers in-game did anything, all the animations worked, the clock worked, the time of day worked etc.....

alright i tried out my last ditch effort to make it work, and failed. I was correct in my assumption that it was Blizzard's fault (again) and that time and time again they f*** up their own games somehow

my proof?
when i tried to run the replay on my oldest compter (which W3 isnt updated/patched on) an error occured due to the replay beig from a different version of the game

why u need that specific version of a game to watch a replay from that time period i will never understand *sigh* blizzard, still unreliably my most hated game developing company to date......

Well, i incorporated all the pics given, and some that the site already had. So right now, its at about 3 mins. Soon the replay i have left from us play will be in it.
