PRO GUIDE FOR HUMANS:
These are a series of tips, tricks, and strategies that may improve your gameplay. This guide is meant for pro players only teaching already pro players how to play as peasants.

1) Box Method: Right after loading, when the game starts, there is a 2 second time where peasants haven't spawned yet. During this time, make a box around the general area where pez spawn starting from top right corner, to bottom left with the mouse ending up over the mini map on the place you want to base at. The moment your pez spawns, the box should automatically lock onto your pez. Since your cursor should already be at the place you want to get to on the mini map, you can quickly start w-ling(blinking) there. This method will give you a quick movement towards the place you want to get to.
2) Build tents first. A lot of pro players think building houses first, then tents is the most efficient method, but in reality it is not. This method works like this: Throughout the entire construction of your buildings, always hold the shift button. 1) Build 2 tents. 2) While holding shift, build houses 3) During the time your pez builds houses, start upgrading your already built tents. Ultimately the moment your pez finishes houses, the tents will already be upped allowing you to automatically start shipping out workers. This method works because two things will be occurring at once (tents upping and houses being built) compared to the house first method which forces you to build tents last, and having to wait for the tents to up. This method can provide an extra couple of seconds for you to perform other actions.
3) Memorize the places vamps like to attack or shade. A lot of vamp players often attack the same places and or shade the same places every time they play. Memorize these places so you won’t base in the location that that vamp always attacks. For example I know Infierno- and nhscooter always attack top left base of the inner bases, thus I never base there when their vamps.
4) Always destroy your tents and houses after lumber base is complete. Don’t feed the vamps. Some players that are slow at detting like to keep their tents in place because the vamp gets distracted by them. You can do that but if you’re a fast detter, then make sure to destroy everything but your tavern.
5) Never build walls at entrance of your lumber base! When vamps are passing by they can see that there is a base present and will attack. However if they don’t see anything, obviously they will ignore it.
6) Try to build two houses/walls at entrance of at least two bases. This will accomplish two things: Prevent entrance of shades, and vamps will attack/waste time looking inside the empty base. Exception: Do not build two houses/walls at entrance of another player’s lumber base nor build them at the entrance of a base next to a lumber base because the vamps can accidently farsight and see the other’s workers.
7) Keep your pez close to an empty base. If a vamp attacks your lumber base, you want to be able to build a new lumber base as quickly as possible so as to not lose too much lumber.
8 ) Something obvious, but always use hot keys!
9) Here is a strategy for those risk takers out there that hold on to byte walls for long periods of time. Build “notification houses” aka houses that let you know when a vamp is coming fairly far from entrance of base. Keep your pez not inside of base and not outside, but literally right next to wall. To give an idea, when vamp attacks your notification houses, you will hit “Q” for bouncers and bouncers will spawn almost at their proper locations without having you to blink them out of your base which can be time consuming. Standing too far outside of wall will spawn the bouncers too far and you have to move them over to wall which can also be risky. When bouncers are protecting wall, you should up byte (depending on vamp’s dmg). Ultimately this will allow you to hold onto byte wall for long periods of time and focus on gold mines.
10) Goldmine trick: This is a small trick that can give you a bit of reassurance for your gold mine placement. When you are nearing 20k or 100k, hit ‘H’ for house or an inexpensive building for t2 builder. The house/building will show up where it will be placed before you place the building based on the location of your cursor. If the house/building shows up at a awkward place, then move your cursor until it fits right. Once it does, cancel out of building and build your goldmine automatically without worrying of it being placed at the wrong place. This method is especially helpful when time is nearing another minute and you need to place a gold mine the moment you reach 20k/100k.
11) Flock of super aura walls. Did you know the moment you upgrade the 20% hp in t1 building it also affects aura wall hp? Well the moment you have that upgrade you can build a bunch of super aura walls close to wall without them being golden trembled.
12) Sometimes when you have t2 workers ready at wall, you put them on auto repair. But did you notice that when vamp trembles they annoyingly run outside and get killed? Well the trick is don’t put those workers on auto repair and instead repair your wall manually. When the workers are not on auto repair they literally don’t do anything even if they get trembled.
13) A very funny, but very risky trick. In fact, simply never try this. I am just putting this here because it’s funny. Most of you pros, in your vamp ultra experience have built an incomplete gold mine. You know, the one that just makes a small mark on the ground and is simply a waste of lumber. Well, have you ever thought of trying to use a bunch of those as a wall? Well the funny part is, the vamps can’t actually attack those! The only way they can is if they manually hit the attack button (or ‘A’) and to click on the gold mine to attack. Since some vamp players simply ignore doing that, they try to right click attack which doesn’t work. And thus you get a immortal set of walls. This works perfect if the vamps are complete noobs. If you really want, try this while playing with noob vamps. Have fun!
14) Do you need all uber workers aka 18 gold workers? This idea has not been mathematically proven, nor experimentally (empirically), however this is more of a hypothesis that kind of makes sense. I tried to mathematically prove it but the math became too complex when factoring in all of the small details. Basically, when understanding that making all ubers requires 162 gold, you cringe and ask the question, “Am I really making profit here?” The only simple way to get the exact number of super and uber workers for maximum speed in reaching t2 and maximum profit is by experimenting to see which of each is the best. Ultimately after getting this exact number, you might be able to reach t2 at 22 or 21 min!
Thank you for taking your time to read this. I have been a dedicated player of vamp ultra for many months now and I still enjoy it just as much as you guys do. Hopefully these tips/strategies help you pros become better. If you have any additional tips/strategies please post them as replies! I will be making a post on How to play Vamp for Pros Only as well.

Very good guide however I would like to see if you could add something about this into it?--> How much towering should I do throughout the game. (Like what towers and how many at what time or events during the game.)

First of all a very nice guide, awesome that you took your time to write all of that down!! But I'd like to point some things out:

2)

I honestly believe getting houses first is better, because the moment you finished building one tent you automatically get 0/50. Means that when the tent is rdy, you are already spawning humans. When getting the 2nd tent u'll have around 40/100 or so(depends on how many houses you build, I like to get 4 at start, spam 5 times "w" for workers for 100/*) when the two tents are finished start upgrading them. At that point you'll already have workers wooding and in my opinion this is a faster way, since you get the workers first!
BUT, if I'm completly wrong then PLEASE point it out, though I'm able to build the slayers tavern at 37 seconds, and that in my opinion is really fast.

10)
OMG you are a fucking genius, I always spam "g" like a fucking retard, then get the mine and waste like half a second placing that shit lal. Thanks for this one, really really love it!

13)

Sry about that, but this glitch has been fixed, since you aren't able to build on the green grass area anymore(the whole walking area, and includes the entrance of the base) I mean you could use the glitch inside your base, but I doubt that would be of any use Razz

14)

Weeeeeeell, I never thought keeping ghouls would be smart, but I will try it out! BUT what always bothered me is "the killing slayer and getting one extra uber" thing. I tried this a lot of times in the past, but its just not lucrative, since you loose knights and 18g. Furthermore, you have to spawn slayer and this could cost a lot of time. For example if vamp is fed, you wont reach ultra giga in time, but u got 40 g for banishing flute etc...

So yeaaaaah that would be my part, if you disagree with me then please point it out! Smile
And once again, a realley nice guide!!!

keeping your ghouls cant be smart. They are sooo much weaker then the ubers and die from chaining them once.

[quote="ID_ied"]Very good guide however I would like to see if you could add something about this into it?--> How much towering should I do throughout the game. (Like what towers and how many at what time or events during the game.)

This all depends on the game situation (fed vamp, have they found you, where you are in mines etc.), since pros never really tower until they are found/attacked. If you are concerned about being a 'feeder', one upped flame is always a good start but like I said its game dependent. What I end up doing if they haven't found me is have some upped spikes third upgrade, so you have the choice of towers like flame, frost etc.) ready out of range of golden tremble (5 building spaces back). Then depending on the base you have chosen, have a warning system (houses since they dont feed much). A lot of the bases, if u look at them, have convenient narrow paths leading to them which you can block. Not only a warning system, but also messes with newb vamps who don't character control well. Be careful to do this when you know where all the vamps are LOL I have been effed over before. From here, just keep an eye on the vamps stats since no one likes feeders. Sometimes its better to wait even since later in game items like blasting gem are available and the towers built would be destroyed anyway (a side note to this: I often don't build my towers in a mass since blasting bounces. I space them out w auras or houses so those buildings will be targeted as well. House 3's around your main towers (often I do this after T2 since wood is vital beforehand)). So some more tips for the pro guide geek

BogdanW3 the only issue with that is your behind nearly 10k gold and that can cost you a mine a couple of seconds b4 1min timer hits for gold. therfore ultimately setting you behind in gold costs.... in normal mode i would get kilo after 3rd or 4th mine depending on how much vamps got fed. I still havnt figured out in fast mode when exactly but normally around 5th or 6th i upgrade. Also in the beginning of this guide mentioning tents then houses is very correct. Maybe adding that only 3 houses are needed (infierno- taught me that and it works great) and also selecting all of your houses and setting rally point on a tree so when u spawn workers they go directly to the trees.

Personally I found you're second point about building the tents first useful, but I've adapted it slightly. If you build one tent, you can then use the shift key to set down 4 houses, and up the first tents as you build these houses. Also use shift to queue another tent after these houses. That means when your houses are done, you can start sending workers out immediately and by the time you reach the food cap of one tent you can have upgraded your other one fully.
Also try and start off in a base close to the middle, this will decrease the time it takes you to get 400 wood to build a slayer tavern and let you get a slayer out sometimes as early as around 1:46 ish which may be vital for beating other peasants to items
