Sorry dawownz, all i know is that it deals with the upgrades
for ex: Rank Capt. is an upgrade achieved by getting so much exp from missions

Make an upgrade called Capt.
Then in the leader board make it display their name then next to their name display their upgrade. The save/load codes can save this information which allows you to unlock other "upgradable" heros.
This is all that i know about on dragons Rank System

a very easy way to do ranks is set gold to ranks

so when the player gets 10 gold chnage their name from lets say Coolman to Pvt. Coolman, then when he gets 20 gold change it to Pfc. Coolman so on and so on

Well it's been ages since I've touched the World Editor, but one thing I never got right was the triggers for unit spawn (At the time I was teaching myself and didn't really have any map-makers for advice) So, out of curiosity, how the hell do ya do it?

Create 5 footman for Player (1) at center of Region001 facing degrees.

Ok, so the things in the action that are dark red is things you would need to edit to make it apply to what you want. In the example i made what is happening is it will create 5 footman for player 1 at Region001. Region001 is created by you. You can mark a region in a specific area of a map and rename it. So the 5 footman will spawn at a region created of your choice. As for the degrees stuff hats just where you want your unit facing when it spawns, that don't really matter unless you really need it facing a specific location when it spawn, but you can make it face something another method also so dont worry about the facing stuff too much!

NOTE: The "create unit" trigger would be under "Unit" in actions.

All you would really need to do is find the exported file from tft all you'd need to do import it on to wc3 map and bam its there. If im correct.

even if he did import a custom ability and changed the ability it would make the map for TFT only so it probably has something to do with triggers but im not sure xD

How does one create save and load codes as well as assigning unlockables to levels of code?

If I learn this I might be willing to make a few more maps...

Oh guys, what type of map is your favourite?

I could make a hero arena with certain heros been unlockable at a higher rank, or a special vamps, or a zombie game...

While developing ROTD, i did come across the WinMPQ file limit of 64. The way i fixed it was i made a blank map with allot of imports then saved it back. Just download the Blank map i attached to this post, and simply open 2 pages of WinMPQ, 1st MPQ page opened with the Blank map in link, the 2nd MPQ page with your map. Delete everything in the 1st, and drag the files from the 2nd to the 1st then close both and your done.

Blank Map here

Note: This method will increase your maps file size dramatically because of the blank map's file size. I'd highly suggest using Vexorians Optimizer to reduce the file size.
